Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new clothing and merchandise line designed for members of the dance community. Target demographic is 6-35 year old females. The design should incorporate a light pink and teal color palette and, ideally, mermaid scales. I've included some additional color selections in the color wheel, as I don't want designers to feel limited to a two-tone graphic.

Off the cuff, I'm envisioning the silhouette of a dancing mermaid with the name of the company below. I'm certainly not settled on the format, though, and look forward to any creative concepts that incorporate that suggestion or completely deviate from it.

The logo will be prominently displayed on t-shirts, tote bags, leotards, and other dance items. Looking for a design with a contemporary, sophisticated feel that doesn't skew too young.

I've uploaded a few sample dancing mermaid pictures and a texture file that contains mermaid scales and the desired palette.
