Logo Design Brief
We need a new logo for our campground, Kibby Creek, in Ludington, Michigan. The campground was established in 1972, expanded in 2002, and in the process of another expansion. It's a family-owned and operated business that caters mostly to families in a small tourist town along Lake Michigan. We were built in an old fruit orchard (apples, pears, cherries), on top of a hill, and surrounded by pines. We have two ponds on the property which Kibby Creek (our namesake) runs through. We serve tents to RVs. Our recently remodeled restrooms and camp store tend towards the modern rustic design. Family vacations and family memories are our thing, but we see people from all walks of life and from all over the world. We play on nostalgia and maintain the classic feel of camping that everyone loves with modern conveniences, cleanliness, and design.

Colors have always been a combination of green, orange, and yellow. Our current camp store is yellow on the outside and our bathrooms are orange. We're in nature but we also use color to stand out and be set apart from others.

We're currently known as Kibby Creek Campground, but may change to Kibby Creek Camp Resort upon the completion of our expansion (which will include a larger store and a cafe). Flexibility with this name would be wonderful.

We are a seasonal business, open from April 15-October 15 with prime months in the summer (June, July, August).
