Logo Design Brief

We a need a logo design for an acupuncture clinic located in Minneapolis, Minnesota called Shen Acupuncture + Herbal studio or Shen Studio for short. The logo should have a modern and simple feel to it. Ideally something that is easy to distinguish at both large and small sizes. We are open to Shen being capitalized or lower case; whatever looks best with the design. The logo I will use most often should be a soft black but there may be times I want to be able to have it in white as well. I attached a super quick idea I had with Shen written on it; feel free to use this as inspiration. I have attached another which is that same logo plus a rough design adding some intricate floral; I am interested in this option if it could be done well and work well as a logo for website and marketing materials without getting too hard to see details. I would like the flowers to look more like greenery and representative of herbs versus looking like wedding floral. I have attached some example Herbal drawings for inspiration.

Must have

• Modern, minimalistic. Should say “shen” only unless something else really looks good with it.

Should not have

• Don’t use ‘s’ as the logo symbol. I don’t like chunky looking outdated graphics.
