Logo Design Brief

I want something to depict the rich racing history of Indiana relating it to automotive recycling. I want it to be fresh and not typical recycling emblems maybe something in an oval shape. I want it to pop and colors red, black and white. I want something checkered in the design and an abstract car as well. I have attached a logo that I like the feel of it for you to understand what I am looking for.
