Logo Design Brief

Our company designs very high-performance Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and we are based in Baja California, Mexico. We would like a clean logo that includes a graphic that combines PCB and Baja California, or ,Mexico in a single theme. Please note: we definitely want to avoid any Mexican racist stereotypes like sombreros, donkeys, tequila, or a person taking a siesta under a tree — we are very serious and highly educated electronic design engineers. The preferred colors would be Blue and Green but we are very open minded — we definitely want to avoid any bad color theory violations though. Mexico is known for color, so yes we’ll be open-minded.Our company name is: Baja PCBA catch phrase is “performance interconnects”Additional details about us, if helpful (engineer speak): the designs we do are very high-end that require high-performance and are used in satellites, fiber optics, and wireless communications.We’ll very happily provide any additional information needed.

NOTE: we uploaded some information on "PCB elements" guidelines to use IF you wish to use these elements. It's not required to use, but if you do use, we just gave some guidelines to hopefully help. We also uploaded a map outline of our state, just for reference if you decide to use. Again these are just references.

UPDATE: for those using the outline shape of our state, Baja California, if you find that doesn't look good artistically, you may also try the outline of the entire Baja Peninsula which consists of Baja Norte and Baja Sur. WE leave to your discretion. Either is fine to use but we wanted to add the extra option if that is easier to work with.

Requirements

Must have

• A simple and "clean" graphic that combines PCB and Mexico. Color scheme that works for web

Nice to have

• For the "PCB Elements" it can just be simple things like trace(s) or common patterns seen on PCBs.
• (we like symmetry and golden mean features but we leave up to the designer)

Should not have

• Should not be super complex. See attached guidelines on "PCB elements" for examples of avoiding having "splits" in any PCB traces should you wish to use traces
