T-shirt Design Brief
Each year the trumpet section parents provide unique section shirts for the whole trumpet section of the high school band. This year the show theme is western/cowboy. We are looking for a standout design that all the kids will think is cool. My thoughts for the front of the shirt are a trumpet shape made of rope, or maybe a cowboy silhouette with a lasso in the air and the lasso forms a trumpet shape somehow. I am creative, but I am under time constraints. Open to suggestions and creativity. We just want the coolest looking thing possible! The back side of the shirt will need to be a cowboy hat shape that is made up of all 36 kids names. I've never used design crowd before, so I don't know at what point you need all those names. We would like to use a white t-shirt if possible, but are open to black or navy if a dark background will look better.
Update 9/9/19 - the designs submitted so far show the lasso like it is catching a trumpet. Would prefer the lasso itself to form a trumpet. Would also like to see some submissions of a large trumpet made out of rope using a good rope texture.
New update: it has come to my attention that the trumpet section has adopted a giant stuffed snake as their mascot. I have attached an image of the snake. Can anyone incorporate this into the designs. Maybe a snake in these colors in the shape of a trumpet? Or put the snake in the background? Or something brilliant...??? It could be used for the back of the shirt with the kids names in these colors forming a snake shape.
2019.09.11 Update - added an excel list of student names. Please note that the list is in order from Seniors (12th grade) to Freshmen (9th grade). Our seniors need priority since this is their last year.
