Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my Personal Training and Boxing Studio in Sydney. Am thinking a big stand out X and smaller print PT - the X design will need to feel funky/cool and easily recognisable on its own as it will be used throughout as the main branding design. The font of PT should be more of standard font so it can be replaced by other letters in my marketing ie. Xceed, Xcite, Xtreme . The colours I would preference are 'gold, black and white' or 'red, black and gold/silver'
