Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new and small company based in Sydney Australia called VetMedic AU. I am an emergency and critical care veterinary specialist and I provide training for paramedics that might be required to care for military and police working dogs in the line of duty. I also provide first aid training to handlers of military and police working dogs. The company may be expanded in the next year to provide training to paramedics for publicly owned dogs and cats that are injured in road traffic accidents or house fires for example. I want something that has a simple silhouette, should have something animal (primarily dog) related, and if you're going to use an ECG tracing, please be sure it is one that is compatible with life, not the stylized ones that actually would be a cause of death (this tends to annoy both human and veterinary medical providers). Red is always a good color for emergency, but is not required.
