Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new single family neighborhood in Southern Delaware, near the beach resorts of Ocean City, MD and Bethany Beach, DE. Saltwater Landing gets its name from the old landing strip turned farmland on which it sits. The houses will be moderately priced 3-4 bedrooms and 1 or 2 stores. The main entrance to the community will have an entry feature with wood piers and ship rope which will be the framework to hold the logo sign. The logo should tie together the nautical theme as well as the homage to the old landing strip. Colors should reflect sand and sea. Logo should NOT be a simplistic nautical design (bird and with grass) but reflect a level of sophistication.
