Logo Design Brief

I have just set up a company called Contemporary Slate and Stone and I'm looking for a new logo. I design and make a range of products for the Corporate and Hospitality sectors. These include Wine, Gin and Champagne racks and smaller items such as coasters and trays.
I use welsh slate which is rough and quite sharp with pointy edges and is quite dark in colour. I also use Portland Stone which is light and creamy in colour and more square cut.
