Logo Design Brief

We are a group of mechanical engineers specialising in solving problems for the subsea oil and gas sector. Whenever something breaks, leaks, falls off, stops working subsea we design and build the solution. We offer the same service to onshore mining and drilling (coal, iron ore, gold, etc) as well as renewable energy (wind, wave, solar).
The business is well established (12 years in operation) but going through a re-brand. The new business will be called Blakemere. The name was chosen because it is strong, unique and evokes feelings of credibility and integrity. These descriptors apply to our business and how our clients see us. Trust, integrity and proven performance is why our clients come to us to solve their problems. The name Blakemere also has a strong family significance to me (the new owner of the business).
Our clients are typically Chevron, BHP, Inpex, Esso, Woodside, etc (oil and gas operators). Very serious folk!
We need a new logo and/or wordmark for the business. I have attached a spreadsheet describing what we do and where we do it. I hope this helps.

Nice to have

• We frequently laser-cut our name into our equipment as a method of easy and permanent branding. When cutting material any geometric 'islands' in the text (for instance the middle of the A, B and R) are lost. I don't want it to look like a stencil font, but if it were able to be cut into material with needing to modify the wordmark or logo it would be beneficial. I have attached an image of a crude example I have created.
