Hi Rain and Basil,

Some clarification on the design requirements
The slider options and Must Have: - Flare, - Color, - Modern , - Eye Catching

Typically for your industry, you would want a logo that works in one colour usually white and sometimes translucent so it doesn't obscure your perfect shot.

Upmarket + Bold + Modern could be viewed as Minimalist, few colours, often lettermarks or wordmarks like fashion logos
See: format.com (best-food-photography-portfolios)
See: photoawards (top-10-advertising-food-photographers)

Sorry for the long post. I just want to know if you are leaning towards logos like

1. RB Mark details like florishes
2. Badge - Icon Like Verasce with patterns for complexity
3. Combination mark Script like Rachel korinek with a detailed logomark (Abstract icon or RB mark).
4. Miniature scene logo
5. Not like Laura Sydney: (behance 62210455)

The slider options would suggest a luxury Logo mark or logotype like those of high street fashion or perfume brands and the highest form of complexity to them would be the Icon that goes along with a simple font that represents their image (Fendi, Prada, Gucci, Givenchy). Most turn out simple and lacking in colour. Few exceptions with complex/detailed logos are the likes of Dolce and Gabana or Versace.

I really want you both to get the logo you deserve. Sorry, I can't post full links.

Kind Regards
