Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for our dinghy sailing club. The club is mainly for youth sailors and our current logo doesn't appeal to them. They want a logo they can wear on their gear with pride. They mainly sail Optimist, Laser and 29er and it would be neat if their sail shapes could be incorporated. They race both nationally and internationally and want an edgier modern looking log that reflect sail racing today. The club name is LINKÖPINGS JOLLESEGLARKLUBB or LJS for short. Either of these can be used as text for the logo but preferably both with LJS as the main text.
It would be really awesome if two of the sailing dinghy's or at least their sail shapes could be incorporated somehow.
