owner of the contest, low ratings - one and two stars only demotivate designers to participate with new projects. Because low ratings lead the designer's rating to a crash. If you do not like a design, you better eliminate it without putting one or two stars. Thank you for your understanding

Hello, I'm a new designer here at DesignCrowd. There seems to be some strange activity taking place on this platform. Clients ask for minimalist designs and according to comments on the comment section, only low star ratings are provided. If clients don't understand the term "minimalist" they best review their brief or try opening a dictionary. It's extremely disheartening, rude, and downright insulting to play games with designers who devote precious time to creating the designs that they upload to the open contests. I don't get paid for the time that I spend creating pertinent designs according to misleading or erroneous design briefs. I take my work seriously and I'm both committed and dedicated to my craft. And my studies weren't for free, you know. Furthermore, many of the contests that are awarded go totally against the requests provided by the clients on their design brief. This is against Designcrowd's policies and it's an abhorrent practice. To any level headed person, with a basic level of intelligence, it's not hard to establish that perhaps there's more to what's taking place here than meets the eye. It's called "misleading by omission." In other words, unfair commercial practices. Regarding clientele, they must adhere to high levels of transparency when creating or awarding contests. Just because they're paying for a service it does not mean they're automatically entitled to act as they please. There is a humanistic element involved here. Folks like me sustain their livelihood by partaking in these contests. We are EXPECTED to follow certain RULES and REGULATIONS when uploading designs. Thus, why don't these "alleged" clients adhere to these same practices?

Please check my design and give some feedback. if you don't like the design simply eliminate it, but don't rate it with 1, 2, 3 star. Thanks in advance. Have a nice day!

Please either leave the star rating empty and eliminate submissions, or give at least 3 stars minimum, as it affect our ranking here on the platform. Thanks

the simple brand does not look for a simple logo as described in the project. also the simple brand does not appreciate ideas, 1 star is what the simple brand gets associated with at the moment...

@TheSimplicityPilgrim
Love your message.
I will answer part of it. Selfishness plus Designcrowd cares about the client and doesn't care about you and me because there are hundreds like us... As long as designcrowd makes money, the designer gets warnings for little things that don't matter. Designcrowd haven't even bothered to make sure their star rating works right in the favor of the client and at least in some why the satisfaction/understanding of the designer.
Regards.

I received 1 star rating without any reason.
It's time to withdrawn my design from this contest.
