CD Cover Design Brief

Need a front cover jacket and a disc design for a fantastic all-pro big band (jazz/funk/reggae) CD. We really want to use a group photo somehow since so many of the band members are world famous, LA's finest studio musicians with mostly original music arranged by the biggest names in jazz. Playful, fun, lighthearted, tasteful arrangements with world class soloists.

• Legibility . . . must be easy to read and not crowded or cluttered. Font idea below (One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest) is for feel and flavor. It is absolutely not necessary to match if you have something you like better.

Nice to have

• Colorful but not tacky. Maybe a play on the CD title, Down and Dirty?
