Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new micro-distillery located close to Botany Bay in Sydney Australia. We craft unique high-quality spirits, currently focussing on gin, but also include coffee and lemon based spirits. Our master distiller is a tinkerer with a background in science and engineering who has a passion for distilling. He is constantly coming up with new ways of doing things. We use innovative ingredients and processes to develop great tasting drinks. Our focus is on small scale and quality, making the best drinks possible. Everything is hand-made and we work closely with our suppliers to have the best quality ingredients. The name of our distillery draws from the botanists who initially catalogued the plants in the Botany Bay area, Sir Joseph Banks and Daniel Solander. We would like to see designs that convey the sense of history, quality and a scientific approach to doing things.
