Graphic Design Brief
The Lowestoft Distillery Company Ltd require a front and rear label design for our new Orange flavoured Gin called Obdam or Obdam's. This is the second product in our spirit range, all of which reflect on Lowestoft's historic past. We would preferably like a clear type label, though it's not a deal clincher, and we would like the label to reflect on Lieutenant-Admiral Jacob van Wassenaer Obdam's loss at the Battle of Lowestoft took place on 13 June 1665. The label can be humourous (check out the flag for Obdam) or have an historic view. It does have to show Orange though either in colour or as the fruit as apart from being a major botanical in hte Gin it also reflects were Obdam is, the Netherlands. We do already have a company logo and are open for that to be included as a layer in the design but it is not crucial as the front label must be about Lowestoft, Obdam, Orange and Gin. The rear label can make use of the company logo and must include text for a piece on Obdam and also include 40% ABV and 70cl. The usual UK drinks aware stuff also should be there and prehaps a line for our web address at www.thelowestoftdistillerycompany.co.uk

Requirements
Must have
- Obdam Orange Gin. Conform to the standard Spirit labelling requirements for UK. The Lowestoft Distillery Company but be there somewhere. Label size absolutely no larger than 100 mm x 120mm as to fit bottle (Polo style)
Nice to have
- Company logo incorporated would be nice though not essential on front label. Can be a watermark. Must at least be on rear label. Take a look at our Instagram and Facebook pages @lowestoftdistillery or our website at www.thelowestoftdistillerycompany.co.uk for an idea of what we are about.
