Logo Design Brief

Hello, I am needing a logo design for our company "Cook Insurance Agency". We are an Independent Insurance Agency located in the rural Midwest in the United States. The town we are located in is Butler, MO to be exact. Think rolling hills, rivers, and lakes I'm pretty open to any colors or fonts. The logo can just be our company name written in an interesting way or it can be our company name plus a graphic. It could also be our company name with a graphic that surrounds it. I I have added pictures of our current company name layout. I have also added some photos of different logos that I have found on the internet and this website that I like. I would like to have a large backlit sign made for the front of our building with the name and logo incorporate into it. I would also like to have some promotional merchandise made with the new logo printed on it. My dad is also into vintage advertising/logos so you can keep that in mind. We didn't come up with the name Cook Insurance we just bought the business but I would like to somehow make this lame company name look cool, unique, hip, and youthful.
