Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Brisbane called "VASCAN". We are a radiology specialty (specialising in Vascular Scans/Imaging) which provides minimally invasive image-guided diagnosis using ultrasound. Our main scans are of patients arteries and veins within different regions of the body. We would like to see a design that uses the colours Red and Blue (Arteries and Veins) and thought the "VA" could be one colour and the "AN" another with a gradual blend of the two colours for the "SC" making the logo name "VASCAN" - This would show the logo name is made up of VASC (standing for Vascular) and SCAN (standing for Scan) - However we are open to different colours/design should the right logo be appealing to us. The final design should communicate professionalism.
