Logo Design Brief

The Company is called Umami Tea Co. I want a logo design for an online tea company specialising in Traditional Japanese Green Tea. The market will be green tea lovers but also health conscious people. I want the brand to appear authentically Japanese so people feel the product is authentic but accessible so that to casual and western tea drinkers feel comfortable with the product. The product behind the brand is mainly quality leaf tea but will also include matcha (powdered tea).

I want the logo to be simple but obvious as to what the product is and for it to be eye catching and hopefully iconic.

The Japanese for Umami is うまみ.
I have also included some pictures that are on the umami instagram so you get a better sense of the product and aesthetics involved.
