Logo Design Brief

Our company is named Mailbox Merchants. We are an established Direct Mail advertising company that mails coupons and flyers to consumers. The ads we distribute are purchased by local and national companies and mailed to over 2.5 Million consumers each month. Our current logo has been in use for 19 years and needs a refresh. We want to do away with the Scissors as a part of our logo and move to a more contemporary look. One that does not emphasize that we are a coupon clipping publication. We would like a logo that that evokes feelings like: Contemporary, Technology driven, Data and research based, Cutting edge, Established, Effective advertising, Advertising that reaches consumers in their homes. We do not want to incorporate imagery of Mailboxes or postal related imagery. We want this new logo to look like a tech company. The logo will be used in multiple formats. Digital, in print, on business cards, letter heads, rate cards, mobile devices, etc. Please keep that in mind when building your designs. It has to look good across all formats and sizes.Attached is a sample of the current logo. We are not locked into any of the colors that are in the current logo.
