Logo Design Brief

I am a chiropractor running a small chiropractic clinic in Sydney's Western Suburbs. It is a solo practice so as well as being the chiropractor I am also the receptionist and financial manager. I opened the clinic in February 2018 after finishing work at another group practice and have so far been operating with no logo, and no sign outside the clinic. My patients are mostly those who have followed me from the prior practice and others who have found me by word of mouth.
The clinic is called 'Health Innervation'. ‘Health’ as I promote good health through a healthy, active lifestyle and looking after one’s body and spine. ‘Innervation’ as the spine protects the spinal cord which is responsible for communication between the brain and the muscles, organs and tissues that allow the body to function at it’s best. The muscles and organs are innervated by different parts of the nervous system and different spinal nerves. The techniques we use are also innovative – innervation/innovation.
The Chiropractic care I provide is effective and gentle.

Target Market(s)

People come to visit a chiropractor because of headaches, back pain and neck pain, sciatica, nerve pain and poor posture, but many of my patients are regular patients who come in every month or so to have their spines checked, have a chiropractic adjustment and get their body performing at its best again, preventing any smaller niggling issues from developing into something more serious or long lasting. Chiropractic is for people of all ages, all different walks of life, with different goals and . The location of the clinic means that I have a lot of blue collar workers.

Requirements

Must have

• -I would like the back of the business card to have space to write down the next appointment or other information.
• -My Name, Krista King, should be quite large on my business card. It is more likely that someone would say, "go and see Krista" than, "Go to Health Innervation".
• I would like a simple logo that is professional and reflective of health, instilling confidence as well as a feeling of safety. I am a warm person who has good rapport with my patients. Other words I would use to describe the tone I am after are personal, warm, reassuring, approachable. It does not need to be directly related to chiropractic care – I chose the name Health Innervation as I wanted to keep my options open for the future in case I expand and the clinic provides additional health services

Should not have

• I'd prefer to avoid pinks and reds in the colour pallete.
• My main competitor has a logo that looks a bit like a triangle (please see image added for ace wellness below), so I would like to avoid any similarities to this.
