Logo Design Brief

We are looking to redesign our logo to something more web friendly, and more in line with our brand. We currently use mainly our initials (HSC), and we want to incorporate HOWARD and SUPPLY into the text. Additionally we may want to include OILFIELD supply. See current logo which is attached.

This logo should be horizontal / rectangular in shape as it will be used as our home page landing logo as its main use case.

I am drawn to logos that look more vintage, perhaps a 50s or 60s vintage vibe. We have a good logo that is in the Circular format that I will attach that that we have used on apparel and it is very popular. We are open to including an icon alongside the logo in horizontal configuration.

I will include a couple files for inspiration. I like the Pennzoil logo as it is a unique application of the icon, as well as I like the slightly upward skewing font. Same with Herschel logo for the font as it is drawn on line slanting up. I also like the font selection in Herschel logo.

For Our Icon, I like having a pump jack (see Howard Logo), or a unique abstract oilfield item (use your inspiration).
