Logo Design Brief

We are a small shop that specializes in the design, fabrication and installation of small structural steel projects. We are located in the Silicon Valley of the Bay Area and work on many building types, including houses, offices and stores. We chose the name Everest because it is well known, easy to spell and remember, the outdoors is our happy place and for a personal reason, it was the nickname of the owner’s father. That said, we don’t mind having some outdoor elements (mountain maybe?), but need the logo to have a strong STEEL presence to emphasis what we actually do. Our logo will be used on the sides of our trucks, on business cards and other printables and online. We would like it to easily be printed on shirts, and in black and white only, but an outdoorsy brown is also something we would like to consider. A friend made us a small sign out of steel when we formed the company and we though it was fun, so I attached it for inspiration! Thank you!
