Logo Design Brief

We are a full-service graphics and signage company called Signification and we provide custom graphics and signs to businesses locally and nationally. We need a logo that communicates professionalism and creativity in a "non-busy" way (very simple and concise). We would like to see the use of deep blue or purple as at least one of the colors. We would love to have the logo have something to do with the Denver/Colorado area (wisp of a mountain range, city skyline) but that's just our novice and amateur idea. We have our tag line and a couple of (novice) ideas, but we are not "married" to any idea and would love to see what others come up with! In order for people to pronounce Signification properly, we need the word "sign" to stand out. Our idea would be to have the word "Sign" being in slightly larger font (and perhaps a different color) and a half line down have the rest of the name "ification" (in perhaps a contrasting color). Again, not married to anything. We have included our temporary business card mainly for you to see the tagline (we had to come up with something quickly, but this has too many buildings).

Our target audience would be property management professionals, commercial real estate agents, construction management professionals, anyone responsible for their companies image/visibility/logo/signage.
