Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a newly-formed organization called RiverWise. RiverWise is located in Beaver County, PA, just 25 miles north of the city of Pittsburgh. RiverWise is part of a network of communities called "ecodistricts." You can learn more about this movement by going to https://ecodistricts.org/. Looking over this website should help you to understand that ecodistricts are progressive organizations who want to think about the health and vitality of the communities in which they are located. Ecodistricts care about the environment, about equity, and about creating communities that enhance the quality of life for all residents.

RiverWise is a county-wide ecodistrict that is focused on revitalizing the Ohio River and the Beaver River in Beaver County, PA. The logo I am looking for should feature in some way a river theme. It should appeal to millennials and should invoke the ideas of hope, progress, and collaboration.

One of the biggest challenges of this project involves encouraging 54 different communities to work and dream together about how we can use our rivers and the land that surrounds them. So, a logo that conveys this kind of collaborative spirit would be preferred.

NOTE: There is no space in the name of the organization. It is the word "River" followed directly by the word "Wise". So it should look as follows:
