Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new specialty e-commerce website that sells bar stools. Our web developer recommends something clean, simple and "flat." We would like it to have a sort-of slick retro vibe, if possible. (Draw inspiration from company logos that were prevalent during America's "space age" of the 1960's.) The first attached image shows the preliminary home page design from our developer. I added our name in the logo area (using comic sans, as a joke). The main banner photo in the home page mock-up is just a stock image placeholder found by our developer. It does NOT exemplify our look or the kind of products we will be selling. I included a few separate pictures that we WILL be using on our site to give you an idea of the products we sell and the aesthetic of the photography that will be present.
