Logo Design Brief

We are changing our company name from Bluesail Group to Bluesail Vacation Yachts & Sailing Academy (Bluesail for short). We want to re-design our logo such that it fits more with the Key West/tropical lifestyle that we offer guests that come stay on our sailing yachts. Our current logo us far too corporate looking, and doesn't really push people to get excited about our lifestyle. We want our logo to represent a lifestyle and something we can use as a baseline for designing apparel to sell our guests down the road (hats, shirts, stickers, etc.)...again, a lifestyle brand. Our new motto is "Own the Ocean" so feel free to incorporate this into the design if you'd like, however it's not required. Here are a few websites/companies to take a look at which help to inspire us here at Bluesail, and might help you get inspired as well through the design process:

We'd like all images files to be sent in the original editing format, preferably using Adobe, as well as jpg and png. We'd like the logo files to be provided with both a white background as well as transparent and can have other color backgrounds as well based on your design.

Must have

• It must have "Bluesail" in the logo somewhere and should use the websites provided as inspiration for the brand and lifestyle we're trying to achieve. We're looking for a design that is fun, casual, relaxed, tropical, and care-free. When you think of a tropical margarita or Corona on a white sand beach looking at crystal clear blue water with palm trees blowing in a perfect breeze...that's what we want our clients to feel when they look at our logo.

Nice to have

• If you have design ideas that include the words "Vacation Yachts & Sailing Academy" or just "Vacation Yachts" that is fine as well so long as the company name "Bluesail" is included.
