Infographic Design Brief

Start-up supporting people to make the first move looking for creative designers! Our company is focussing on interpersonal relationships, especially the way we compliment and connect to strangers. To achieve an improvement in communication, we came up with the idea of ​​plastic cards. We are basing our plastic cards on a QR card system, each of them receiving an individual ID. This ID can be found on the back page of the cards. Different cards have different functions (for example, we offer projects for our travel-cards-series as well as our connect-cards-series). To get people to use our cards and online functions, we need creative minds like you to design our front-page illustrations! This specific card is part of our travel-card series. It's title is: "I just wanted to say" Thank you "" (German version) or the German equivalent ("I just wanted to say" thank you "). We would like to tell you how to travel and why anybody should use them. Stepping up to somebody to compliment or thank them in a world of people looking at their own phones rather than talking to their neighbors on the bus. Rather than shying away from making a stranger's day, you can now use our cards to spread a smile. The card comes in a compliment, guided by an illustration (which you are providing). When the back of the card is scanned, it reveals the way this card has traveled. Each recipient can put in his / her first name and follow the journey this little card undertakes by creating an account on our website. This way people in the chain, who have been part of the card's journey can connect. As the target group can be any age or profession, we need a design that appeals to anyone, including a nice bus driver, a great waiter or the neighbor from the street. The recipients of the card will be happy to hear you talking about the card, it's all about the card message. The design itself is completely up to you. We invite you to give us your idea, give it your best! Remember: The design will be printed in color, it will take about 2/3 the size of a normal credit card. We have provided the front-page layout, so you can fill in your illustration to replace the red and white striped area.
