Logo Design Brief

OUR ACTIVITY
Aedes is a caring home for elderly. After 20 years in the sector, we currently take care of 100 elderly people in the modalities of home and day center.

OUR DIFFERENCIATION
We have new facilities and technology for the safety, well-being and stimulation of our elders such as multisensory room. But what differentiates us is our attitude and vision: For us, a residence is not a "parking for the elderly", we do many "active" activities for the social and mental stimulation of our residents, We involve families, young people and groups of our city.

We involve families, collectives come to perform music performances or theater and we collaborate with the local kennel. We also carry out activities to change the "chip" of our society and not see the old man as a being that is no longer useful. Our annual photographic contests is already well-known in our city. Young people look for beauty in elderly with their pictures and soon we will launch a program in which the elderly and children cultivate ecological gardens. We have set ourselves apart from the other caring houses with our practices.

WHAT TO TRANSMIT
We would like to have a modern logo, because we seek to be a revolution in the sector with our practices and our image. We would like our logo to reflect our responsibility, respect and affection towards our elders but also the vitality that we try to spread to them. Our staff shares our idea of caring for our residents as if they were our parents or grandparents because they deserve the best!

Requirements

Must have

• Imagotype + Company name
• COLOURS
• The elderly have a preference for bright colors, as does our happy attitude. You could choose a multicolored icon: red, green, blue, yellow, pink ...
• Blue: tranquility, confidence, peace
• Red: energy, love
• Green: harmony, peace, health, hope
• Yellow: optimism, joy, creativity
• Rosa: sweetness, gratitude, friendship
• In case the logo is "complex", 3D model desing or take into account that we want to introduce it in the decoration of our facilities, by means of vinyl and photomurals or company letters so it must be feasible to make an ink or black & white version.

Nice to have

• NAMING, SIMBOLOGY, ICON
• In case it serves you as ideas, aedes means in latin, "home, dwelling or stay in which fire is made". Afterwards, temples were called “aedes vestae”, and the tradition of having a fire on as an offering to goods, raised. In addition aedes, is a game of letters of the word "edades" which means "ages", because we want to soon launch an intergenerational program for children and adults to do some activities together.
• We would like to have an imagotype. It could have some relationship with fire (by our name) or with a tree that is a universal and ancestral symbol of life and its constant evolution. Also it would be an option to work with our first letter "a" or doble a beacause our full name "aedes asistencial".
• These are non-conditioning ideas.
