Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new pet sitting business that I am starting in Mountain View, CA. The business is called Pet Love Pet Care Services. I have drawn a very bad sketch of something I have in mind. I would like to use a somewhat whimsical design but not cheesy. I'd like to use a heart for either the dog's tongue or possibly ear, and also the cat's tail. I'd like black lettering and possibly a brown dog and ??? colored cat. I am also open to other designs that may be better than this but I would like to keep a few hearts in the design to convey "Pet Love". I would like "Pet Care Services" to be in smaller letters and not part of the main design.
