Illustrations for a children's book with two main characters (boy and girl), approximately 30 pages of text and illustration. This project is for 3 pages of illustrations and text as a test for this future project . The topic will be a child's first airplane ride. The result should be simple with white space for text. Looking to publish in different languages so children can be of different races. The boy and the girl meet on the airplane. They play, they eat, and they become friends.

Page 1
The first time on a plane,
I was really excited.
I remember the long corridor
and how it was lighted.
Page 2
At the end of the hall was a
woman wearing a suit.
Page 3
She brought me to my seat
and told me I was cute.
Page 4
She gave me a pencil,
crayons and a book.
Page 5
I was happy and gave
her a thankful look.
Page 6
When I sat down,
I had a window seat!
Page 7
All I could think of was
of the new friends I'd meet!
Page 8
As soon as the plane taxied
down the runway,
Page 9
the kid next to me said,
"We're off! Hurray!
Page 10
When we got off the ground,
the boy started to talk.
Page 11
He said, "Hi, my name is Bobby. How
about going for a walk?"
Page 12
I said yes and as we began
to get up from our seat...
Page 13
The stewardess said, "Don't
get up, we are about to eat."
There is more to the story but this should give a good foundation for what the book is about. Please be as creative as you are inspired to be. I am looking for an illustrator that loves children's books and can bring this one to life. Thank you.
