Logo Design Brief

We are in need of a stand out logo for a new company selling food products made from insect protein. We farm crickets and sell cricket powder in the UK as a food ingredient - we are now looking to launch a new international consumer brand called 'Bugvita'. Our products (which include biscuits, energy/protein bars, high protein pasta and high protein noodles) are marketed as tasty, healthy and sustainable. Crickets are known to be a good source of protein, fibre, healthy fats and pre-biotics, as well as a source of essential vitamins and minerals. They are also environmentally friendly to produce when compared to conventional livestock.

Target Market(s)

Consumers looking for alternative protein sources. Typically in their 20's and 30's. Wanting healthy foods with low environmental impact.

Nice to have

• A logo that will stand out on supermarket shelves. Would nice, certainly not essential, to acknowledge that the product contains insects (without looking 'creepy crawly' in any way)

Should not have

• No creepy crawly imagery, no bush tucker trail / i'm a celebrity type imagery. Selling insects as a tasty, nutritious food and NOT as a dare or challenge
