Graphic Design Brief

We are creating a beer brand, and need to create our first 16 ounce can label. One of the pictures uploaded is our location on the Amusement park. I am the one on the left. This is where the beer will be selling. It will be stacked up against other colorful beers, so it will need to stand out. Beers with the brightest and colorfulness labels sell the best.

• ***Updated Information: Please see two new updated forms. One is just the legal text/font requirements however the other is an idea i sketched up. I will do my best to explain it:
• I like larger vertical text running up the can (Boardwalk Blonde) with horizontal text (Santa Cruz) on the top above the can. I want approx. 1/4 of the bottom of can to be to be silver in a ocean/wave/water. At that point have it transition from light blue faded into yellow.
• I want a silhouette of an attractive girl holding a surf board running up the can with her feet in the 'water'. She should also be silver (clear). Please have this on both sides of the can with all the legal text running vertical in a small section of the can (using the entire can to maximize space).
• Also, please note this label doesn't cover the entire can. It stops at the shoulder of the can.
• ***Start of Older Information:
• We will be selling this beer locally. We are from Santa Cruz, Ca. We will be selling the beer to our tourist that come and visit our retail locations. There are some things that, by law, have to be on the beer. These are listed below.
• I have also uploaded some bright and colorful examples of beers we know sell well. People not only shop by the type of beer, but people love to see a colorful and story-telling label.
• The label must be bright, eye catching and contain elements of the Santa Cruz Region to include our ocean and beaches. Please google 'Santa Cruz, Ca' to get an idea of the place. Please feel free to google 'santa Cruz local beers' and see what others are doing. We cannot copy and there need to be clear separation of ideas but this will get you an idea of the area and other local breweries.
• Please save some space to tell our story. I haven't created our story however there needs to be some space to inform the guests about us and why this beer is the best!
