Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in New York City. The company is called "Herbceuticals Inc." We plan to launch a line of topical skin care products and therapy to treat various of skin conditions and illness, such as psoriasis, acne, eczema, etc.

Our topical skin care products are created & developed by a dermatologist and acupuncturist/herbalist. The products mainly use all natural Chinese herbs plus western medicine. Furthermore it incorporates the cutting edge research in delivery technology to achieve higher efficacy. Hence, our brand aims to bring the best of Eastern/traditional and western/modern medicine and science together.

The logo needs to fulfill the following criteria:
1) have a balance of Eastern/traditional and western/modern feel
2) It needs to convey a sense of credibility & Professionalism and Authority
3) Prefer simple but elegant feel
4) The products will be sold in store shelves, so IT ALSO NEED TO STAND OUT

The logo will be used on our product package, web site, and company stationery.

Our missions are 1) Do no harm, 2) Making really effective products that can help people in real needs, and 3) Making products that are accessible and affordable to people.

Target Market(s)

-Individuals with specific skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis and acne
-Individuals who prefer natural remedy & treatment
-generally more women than men will be our end users
-relatively affluent population,
-Specific stores where the products will be sold include "wholefood -http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/" , or many natural health stores
-Also, this products will be sold in professional physician offices and spas
