Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for our future TPE based in Zambia called "Lengula Safaris". Our main activity is to rent 4 * 4 equipped camping for self-drives in Zambia, oriented safaris and wilderness discovery. We would like a sleek design, in not too flashy tones, but sufficiently visible and identifiable (the logo will be affixed to each front door of vehicles), in connection with our activity - it is essentially to recall the purpose of the rental of car ie safari and adventure. Colors to prohibit for reasons inherent in the visual perception of animals on safari: navy blue, black, red, and overall colors too "flashy" (or just by subtle touches). Also avoid a logo with a "camouflage" pattern, reserved for ranger and military in Zambia. If it helps you, "Lengula" in Bemba means "Explorer" and the vehicles will be white. What is the concept of self-drive in Africa? Self drive in Africa is renting a vehicle, usually a 4 * 4, equipped or not with camping equipment, to discover a country driving yourself. What are people going to see in Zambia in self-drive? Most self-drivers in Zambia will visit: Victoria Falls, Kafue National Park, South Luangwa National Park and the Zambezi River. They come above all to discover the rich fauna of Zambia: the "Big Five". Zambia is known worldwide for having the largest populations of leopard and wild dogs. Zambia also attracts many bird enthusiasts, who head for even wilder parks like Bangweulu Swamps or Kasanka National Park. Finally, a minority is moving towards even more exclusive tourism like the Liuwa National Park plains with the Kuomboka procession or the annual wildebeest migration (the second largest in Africa). We are completely open to a landscape, animal, or even bird type design. Just avoid the classic clichés about Africa, know that even if they are present in Zambia, mammals such as rhinoceros or elephants are not at all emblematic of Zambia.
Target Market(s)
Couples and families - on average 30 to 50 years old. Mainly European clientele with French and German dominance. Our clientele consists of people who have usually done a self-drive in more "usual" countries like Namibia or South Africa, and who are looking for a little more exclusivity, fewer tourists in the parks and more 'adventure.
