Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my guitar effects pedal company that I will soon be launching. The company will be called 'Fantail Audio'. A Fantail, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Zealand_fantail), being a bird in New Zealand where I'm from and where the company will be based.

The logo itself will be used on the pedal(s) themselves (UV printed, silk-screening etc) as well as a website and a few other things such as guitar picks, stickers, t-shirts etc.

Requirements

Must have

• I'd like to keep things simple in terms of colour; a black silhouette design will be fine as will be printed on a white background i.e. grayscale. My initial thoughts were to have the two words 'stacked' on top of each other with the Fantail itself perched on the 'F'. See the uploaded file for a draft of the basic concept.

Nice to have

• The final design will need to communicate the two most important philosophies behind my business, namely 'Innovation' and 'Quality' and a more sophisticated font(s) compared to the one I've drafted.

Should not have

• Colour. Just grayscale I'm afraid.
