Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our new event, a rowing event for Fours and Eights, based on the beautiful Waikato River upstream of Lake Karapiro.

This is event is similar to the Head of the Charles race held in Boston, Head of the Yarra in Australia or Head of the River Race held in London, UK. See our temporary website for more information on the event and photos which explain further what the race looks like. It is essentially a huge rowing time trial but with short gaps in between the boats so there is overtaking and excitement.

• Simple but stylish logo. Could use silhouette of rowers (must be big boat, so a four or eight). Could incorporate the Map of the location/course somehow.
