Logo Design Brief

We are in the process of re branding our company with a new logo and have created a concept that we like but do not love yet. We would like ideas on how to make this logo design better/open to brand new concepts. We build and service machine tools primarily for the Aerospace, Heavy Equipment and Energy Industries. Our first product line is a machine that is used to trim and drill large aerostructures such as wings and spars. We would like to use similar font as the attached logo. Something with an industrial feel but also clean. The final design should communicate that we are a cutting edge technology driven company. We specialize heavily in the aerospace market and have three divisions within our company. The icon needs to be able to stand on its own as a secondary logo. We also like the idea of the "K" in "KRC" to be designed as an icon and that K incorporated as the "K" in "KRC". Another idea we like is a concept to represent our three divisions.
