Logo Design Brief

I am a metal sculptor and furniture maker who needs a logo for my business. I have a passion for making metal sculptures and modern timber furniture in and around my local community. I would like the logo to be visually interesting, yet simple so that I can use it to brand my pieces. The logo should visually communicate both aspects of my work as well as my initials CJM. I don't want colour to dominate the logo but I am happy for there to be some.

Requirements

Must have

• The project must include some part of my initials (CJM) or at least my last name which is Moorhouse. I included CJM because I think Moorhouse might be too long to add into a design name. I would like the logo to communicate both the sculpture and furniture aspects of my work. That can be done ether by the addition of 'sculpture and furniture' in the name or visual imagery.

Nice to have

• It would be nice to have a logo that can be used as a symbol or icon. This would make branding my work much easier and less formal than writing out the business name.

Should not have

• The logo shouldn't have imagery that is overly cartoon like, I would prefer simple and distinct imagery.
