Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our church children's ministry. This is a 2-part job, as we need 2 logos that match with the exception of one saying "Power Kids" and the other saying "Power Tots."

We are a Christian church, and our PowerKids' ministry mission is to help kids experience the love of Jesus and learn how to walk in His love by loving God and loving each other. Our toddlers are 0-3yrs, and our PowerKids are 4-10yrs.

We would like the logo to be no more than 2-3 colors (and easily switched to one when needed). We are not looking for a specific color in particular, however we would like something that would look good on a variety of different brightly colored shirts and would appeal to children. Our other church logos are simple and minimalistic - "power"-related imagery (lightning/plug/power button/etc.) may be good. We are not looking for an icon, but rather a text-centered logo.
