Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for an established landscape contracting company. We install brand new landscapes (new building/construction) and renovate existing PNW gardens. We install rock walls, patios, irrigation system and plants. We are not a clean-up or lawn maintenance crew ie no mow and blow, etc. We are interested in a clean, simple design (not a lot of elements or colors) that would work on a card, shirt pocket, baseball hat. We don't want any cartoon-looking designs or fonts. We are attracted to the natural beauty of plant structures, symmetry and the golden ratio design principle. I like the simplicity of some Japanese designs, like the classic lotus flower line drawing. Or one drawing from that inspiration, like the bonsai in sunset logo from the Karate Kid. Not literally any lotus flowers or bonsai, just the aesthetic of them. Mid Century clean lines also appeal to me.
