Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo design for our family ranch, called DLR. It is a beautiful ranch in South Texas where we have many animals such as whitetail deer. I would like a logo for our family's personal use - possibly centered around hunting - that would work for shirts, coffee mugs, styrofoam cups, etc. Or, it could look like a traditional Texas ranch logo with something clever for the letters DLR. As far as color, I would go with a solid color like black or brown.
