Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Texas. We provide traffic control services for road and bridge construction companies. We most often use peace officers (those patrol cars you see with flashing lights behind the construction vehicles are us!) We would like the idea of a Law Enforcement Badge (shield not a star). Our color scheme would be primarily blue, but would like to see some yellow and/or orange mixed in.
