Here is more guidance to help designers: (1) Our clinic focuses on people who are at risk of suicide due to strong, turbulent emotions. So it may be useful keep in mind while designing that stormy emotions are the cause of people moving toward crisis. (2) You may consider a design that illustrates the layers or levels of protection in the form of support, such as helping hands, other people helping, or a more abstract depiction of growing support as the crisis gets worse. In other words, rather than showing layers of PROTECTION, you could show levels of SUPPORT. (3) I would encourage depicting approximately 3 levels or layers of support. We plan to refer to this graphic in meetings with sponsors to help them grasp the concept of the clinic, and we need to be able to refer to the graphic and connect it to the levels of service that we provide. I hope these tips are helpful.

On 5/21, we have uploaded two versions of an idea that we like, using a wave. We would like to encourage designers to focus on versions of this design. Please include orange as theme color. In case you can't read the words, they say: "Calming the emotional storm, "Psychotherapy," "Crisis Prevention," "Crisis Respite," and "Before you crash."
