Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new company in Melbourne, Australia called 'Makerskerf'
We make content such as Youtube videos, Instagram and Facebook posts.
These videos will be projects and how-to's for woodworking, metalworking, DIY jobs.
We would like the logo to fit well inside a circle shape (for Youtube logo placement) and be able to transfer well to other platforms and media such as being placed as a floating logo on top of the video or an iron on/burn in logo on wood. We like the idea of minimal colors. we are open to the colors being used such as red, blue, black and white(does not have to contain all these colors.
