Logo Design Brief

We want to use your talent to create a logo for our future catamaran Outremer 45, a fast, sleek and slender catamaran. This boat will be our home for the coming year. His name is MOUTIK. It's a Breton name that means "cute". This is the nickname that the grandmother, who lived on the neighboring farm and with whom I spent a lot of time during my childhood, was confusing me. We hope that this logo is mainly a work of typography, with potentially a graphic element purified in black and white (in reference to the colors of the Breton flag) which would allow to sit the logo and to avoid that it floats on the hull (without a bad word game). We are looking for a graphic creation that is contemporary and refined that integrates aesthetically in the line of the boat (image attached). The logo will be placed at the front of each of the two hulls (the logo must therefore accommodate this symmetry). We have a constraint of legibility of the name, this one used to identify the boat when we arrive in a port, or when it is seen with the twin by another boat, the guard-ribs ... We will not be able therefore to have a typo too convoluted. You will find in attachment the brief as well as the profile of the boat. I do not have a more specific plan. The surface is flat (slightly convex, but needless to consider). The size will be made by the manufacturer of the sticker. I have also attached examples of typos work that I find inspiring without it being a perfect answer to what I expect. There are examples of visual effects of typos, typo logotypes, typo reworked that I found online. In any case it will allow you to have an idea of ​​the kind of graphic design that we like. We would like to see the rendering of the logo on the boat using a photoshop montage or other. Knowing that we then file an AI final logo to provide the sticker manufacturer. Feel free to express your creativity, this brief is indicative but in no restrictive. We are counting on your talent to dress our future boat. A big thank you in advance! Requirements

Must have

• My logo must show the name "MOUTIK" sufficiently legible to be identified from a distance (about 50 m).

Nice to have

• A work on the typo and a rather clean result. Ideally in black and white with reference to the colors of the Breton flag. Ability to add a graphic element to "sit" the logo and prevent it "floats" on the shell, without making a pun.

Should not have

• A colorful logo.
