We need a logo designed for our social enterprise called Social Capital Exchange, also abbreviated to SoCapX. Key from a design perspective is reflecting that SoCapX is the integration of three elements - People, Capital/funding and Technology/data. The Social Capital Exchange is a platform to help funders to invest in social causes more effectively and to help build the capacity of NGOs and Charity organisations to deliver their services more effectively. Blockchain will feature strongly within the platform function.

We want images that convey:
* Value add in all aspects: financial, community, service delivery, sustainability - while we don't want to overstate the financial aspect because SoCapEx is about way more than that, financial speaks to people - in the corporate space, money follows money...in the NGO world, they always need money and will go where they think they can get money. So I think we need to subtly highlight that aspect, the value add is far greater than that...regardless of the resource, it is about targeted connection and efficiency...but the initial resource interest is usually financially motivated.
* Social capital
* Efficiency
* Collective power without sacrificing individual identity and needs
* Pride in being part of this 'community' which is working to develop SA
* Mass buy in - wide participation whether you're a corporate, individual or organization
* Interconnected but independent
* Mutual responsibility and benefit
* An end to reinventing the wheel
* Multi-layered utility of all resources and people
* Trust - buy-in to a shared concept
* Partnership - everyone is an equal player that has value add - the system doesn't work without each component/player
* Lack of sole ownership
* This is the framework that can build social capital
* We want to get at people's desire to do good, to give something, to believe there is a better way but dispel their skepticism and alleviate their fears that their money won't really make a difference or go to the right place or contribute to real change...we want people to believe in SoCapX and really see it as offering a real solution
Basically, the SoCapX represents a fundamental change in how we look at and approach social development, as well as how and where we place value, therefore, all images and branding need to be different from the typical images/slogans of helping hands, bottom up development, together we can, non-profit, funder vs fundee, needing help, etc. We want something that conveys value, efficiency and power in the collective.
