Logo Design Brief

We have just bought a sailing yacht (catamaran) on which my wife and I intend to live and sail around the world. We have named her 'Alia Vita' (Latin for 'Another Life'). By law we must display her name on the stern of the yacht, but we want to use a logo so that we can also use it in our travel blog, on crew T shirts, greeting cards etc. I have attached a couple of photos of our new yacht just because I'm really proud of her!

It is also our intention to commission a Wordpress layout for our travel blog using the logo, the successful designer will be invited to submit for that project once the logo is decided on.

Requirements

Must have

• Alia Vita must be able to be read clearly, can be upper or lower case.

Nice to have

• Artistic reference to a sailing yacht (better still a catamaran) would be nice. We would like some sort of nautical/travel/adventure reference so that people know its the logo of a sailing yacht (or catamaran) even if they don't speak English or use the same alphabet. We are visiting lots and lots of countries including China and Japan for example.

Should not have

• Too many colours.
