Callander Associates Landscape Architecture, Inc. is a well-established landscape architectural firm operating in Northern California. We have been in business for almost 45 years. The firm has transitioned from a sole proprietor to a corporation over the past decade. It is now time to transition our name and logo as well. The name CALA is an acronym of our current name Callander Associates Landscape Architecture, Inc. It is important to us that our name and logo provide some connection to our past while looking towards the future. The task is to design a new company logo/brand that will be utilized on printed and web-based materials. Additionally, we would like five new logos developed to represent each of our five core areas of work including Recreate, Educate, Live+Work, Connect, and Sustain. Both the company logo and core area logos shall work well together and appear from the same design family.
Additionally, we feel it important that all logos developed represent our company’s core values. We would require that all interested parties review our website to gain a better understanding of who we are. Most importantly we would like all logos to reflect our unique culture and our company vision statement “Great people building community through exceptional service and indelible design”.
